I want to know if you have a personal problem with me being the one to spearhead efforts to bring some semblance of a system of justice to Vatheon. Something beyond vigilantism, at least.

[Zelos doesn't get back to Ky right away; honestly, unless this guy is asking everyone in Vatheon the same thing, he's not sure why he's being bothered with this.]

I don't care what you do, but that pretty much extends to trying to force people to follow your personal code of ethics too. I'm not going to pay attention to anything I think is stupid.

It's not, but not everyone has the same idea of justice. Pretty sure yours and mine differ for example.

[Zelos sighs. Okay, so maybe he was giving Ky too hard of a time. It's the blonde's 'I know best' attitude that gets to him though. That and having insulted Zelda's religion. Zelos may not be big on religion but why go through the trouble of bashing someone else's?]

Look man, all I'm trying to get across is that you're dealing with at least a hundred different cultures here with different ideas of what's moral and what's just.

I'm trying to take that into account as much as possible.

Zelda gave me an analysis based on her experiences here, and I'm trying to ask people on an individual level what their ideas are.

His talk with Serph had given him some perspective. Circumstances can drive people to do a lot of things, but you take away the circumstances and there's no reason to do those things.

Or maybe people are just homicidal or genocidal maniacs who have no business taking up everyone else's oxygen, but it's not like he knows quite enough about Duke to lump him in with Mithos.
